After attending a presentation in 2009, we were impressed by Leith’s contribution. We subsequently had several meetings and then had Leith take over our Self-managed Super Fund.
We wanted our super fund to have safe rational assets which we could understand, we could clearly follow on a website and were safe in view of the GFC. We have good access to Leith and his team via phone and email and like our personal reviews each year.
We are happy for Leith to make all investment decisions, within pre-discussed asset allocation framework. AFF provides excellent monthly investment reports and buy/hold/sell recommendations, which with our meetings with Leith keeps us informed and interested.
We are retired and travel a lot. While away we do not have to worry about the super fund.
– Bruce and Kerry –
Redundancies were happening in our workplace and I was concerned if I was to be made redundant would I be able to retire? I am 61 and my husband 63 and we had visited a financial advisor around 10 years ago but walked out of his office totally confused and never ended up doing anything.
Our accountant recommended us to visit Leith Thomas. I actually asked around and visited another financial advisor prior to going to see Leith. We again, walked out scratching our heads thinking we will never understand,
On our first visit to Leith he actually listened to everything we had to say and followed up with a letter outlining our concerns and what we wanted from our retirement.
We agreed to have Leith put together a report outlining our options for retirement and most importantly what our expected annual income would be once we were retired.
Even though we have decided not to retire yet, Leith has given us the knowledge of all options open to us and is always willing to see us and offer advice if we have any concerns.
I have referred friends to Leith and would recommend Leith to anyone who needs advice on retiring.
I only wish I had met Leith 10 years ago and put in place a transition to retirement.
